Nadia Nakai wins big at AFRIMA 2019
South African female rapper Nadia Nakai has taken the South African and the African Hip hop scene by storm.
Bragga, as she is affectionately called by her fans, proved that she is indeed the queen of the moment when she scooped 2 awards at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) held at Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.
Nadia took home the award for the Best female artiste in Southern Africa as well as the Best artiste, Duo or Group in African Hip hop.
2019 is undoubtedly the best year for the family tree’s first lady as she also bagged the award for Female artiste of the year at the just ended South African Hip Hop awards event.
22-year-old Mzansi rapper Nasty C who was the most nominated artiste at the event also took home the awards for Best African Rapper/Lyricist and the Best African Collaboration award for his hit song SMA with Rowlene.
The glamorous event was hosted by the beautiful Pearl Thusi.
